A woman has been arrested for murder in connection to a fatal stabbing in Greenville. The Greenville Police Department reports that it is still looking into the facts of the murder and attempted murder that occurred around 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The incident happened in the 1500 block of Kennedy Cove. At the scene, 65-year-old Michael Maddox was found deceased. 46-year-old Courtney Foxx suffered a stab wound. Foxx was transported to Delta Health Systems before being flown out in critical condition.

Asia Books was arrested on charges of Murder and Attempted Murder. No other details are available at this time.
