A man was shot in the chest in North Sacramento on Wednesday. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office confirms it is investigating the shooting. SCSO reports that the shooting occurred at a motel in the 4300 block of Watt Avenue in North Sacramento.

An adult male victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was transported to an area hospital. SCSO deputies and detectives responded to the scene to investigate.
