A man is behind bars on two counts of Sexual Battery. It is reported that the Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office started an investigation into an alleged Sexual Battery on July 22, 2024.

On July 24, investigators arrested Andrew Guidry on two counts of Sexual Battery. Guidry was booked into the Beauregard Parish Jail with a bond of $100,000. It is alleged that Guidry knowingly and intentionally touched a juvenile in a sexually inappropriate manner on several occasions between 2020 and 2023.

The second charge stems from an incident that occurred on June 4, 2024. At that case, Guidry allegedly touched a second juvenile in a sexually inappropriate manner. The investigation is ongoing.
