The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a fatal shooting at an apartment complex on Saturday evening. HCSO Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in a social media post that deputies responded to an incident in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 13503 North Thorntree.

At the scene, officers learned that an adult male victim had suffered gunshot wounds. HCSO believes the victim is in his 20s. The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The suspect or suspects fled the scene following the shooting. No other details are available at this time.
