The Tracy Police Department is currently searching for a 41-year-old Tracy man accused of committing an act of felony domestic violence and child endangerment. TPD reports that officers responded to the area of Winston Court and Colony Drive around 8:50 p.m. on July 18, 2024.
TPD says the initial investigation indicated that 41-year-old Jose Rodriguez-Remigio had committed an act of felony domestic violence and child endangerment. The victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment and released at a later time.
Witness statements led officers to believe the suspect may have fled into a nearby residence and barricaded inside. SWAT responded. Eventually, officers entered the residence and found that the suspect had fled out the back.
At this time, Rodriguez-Remigio is still at large. Anyone with information is asked to contact TPD at 209-831-6550 or Crime Stoppers at 209-831-4847.
