A 34-year-old man has pleaded guilty to First-Degree Murder and First-Degree Battery in the 2022 death of five-year-old Blu Rolland in Lee County, Arkansas. It was announced that Nathan Bridges pleaded guilty.
Bridges has been sentenced to 60 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections. The body of Rolland was found beneath the floor inside his family’s residence on December 16, 2022 on the day he would’ve turned six.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the Arkansas State Police’s Criminal Investigation Division. Special Agents investigated injuries sustained by a six-year-old girl who also lived in the home.
Bridges and the mother of the children, 30-year-old Ashley Rolland, were arrested and transported to the Lee County Detention Center. Rolland is charged with Capital Murder, Permitting Child Abuse, Abuse of a Corpse, and more. She is still awaiting trial.
