An El Paso man has been arrested in connection to the death of 29-year-old Ivan Dario Bello Espitia. The El Paso Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit announced that it is investigating a murder that occurred in the 200 block of South Glenwood.

Around 3 a.m. on July 7, 2024, EPD officers responded to a 911 call in reference to an assault in progress. The call was upgraded to a shooting. The victim, 29-year-old Ivan Dario Bello Espitia, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for murder for 30-year-old Miguel Eduardo Teran-Moral. Teran-Moral was taken into custody and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility with a $1,000,000 bond.
