A vehicular homicide suspect is in custody. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office reports that several deputies detained a man wanted for vehicular homicide in the City of Vancouver.
Earlier this week, deputies heard radio traffic indicating a vehicular homicide suspect was spotted driving near 137th Avenue in Vancouver. Deputy Forrest Gonzalez realized the area had road construction so the suspect would have difficulty escaping.
Gonzalez and his FTO Trainee Sarah Seehafer patrolled the area and spotted the suspect’s vehicle. They coordinated with K-9 Deputy Michael Gonzalez and Knox. The deputies followed the suspect who eventually stopped at a Walgreens parking lot near Ward Road and 162nd Avenue.
CCSO says the suspect jumped out of his RV and laid down on the pavement before being taken into custody. CCSO has released video of the suspect’s apprehension.
