A 49-year-old man is behind bars in connection to a fatal stabbing in Vicksburg, Mississippi on Friday morning. The Vicksburg Police Department reports that its officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of Clark Street for a stabbing around 4:11 a.m. on July 12, 2024.

At the scene, officers found 50-year-old Christina Ware deceased inside the residence. 49-year-old Roosevelt Harris was taken into custody at the scene. At this time, Harris is being held without bond until his initial appearance on Monday.
