Two people have been arrested in connection to a sexual assault that happened in Hartville. The Wright County Sheriff’s Office reports that it was requested to investigate the sexual assault on July 1, 2024.

The investigation was led by Detective Sgt Kristi Akers and resulted in Amy Mattlage and Randy Brown being arrested. Mattlage is charged with Trafficking for the Purpose of Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse in the First Degree.

Randy Brown is charged with three counts of Sodomy in the First Degree and three counts of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree.
