On Friday night, the Chesapeake Police Department announced it was investigating a double shooting on Flintshire Drive. CPD says that its officers responded to a home at the aforementioned location in reference to calls of gunshots at a large party just after 9:00 p.m. on July 5, 2024.

At the scene, officers found two individuals who had been shot. Both victims were transported to an area hospital. CPD says one victim is an adult male who suffered life-threatening injuries.

The second victim is an adult female who suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
