The Hendersonville Police Department has found the body of a missing 17-year-old girl. Police say foul play is suspected in the case. HPD reports that it began a death investigation on July 3, 2024 after learning that human remains were found in a small wood line near SR 386 at New Shackle Island Road.

A TDOT subcontract worker picking up trash along the road found the remains. HPD confirms that the deceased female was positively identified as 17-year-old Trinity Bostic who was reported missing in Macon County on June 29, 2024.
