The Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office is searching for a person of interest in connection to a homicide on Friday morning. WPSO reports that its deputies responded to the 1200 block of South Choctaw Road for reports of a man found deceased behind his residence.

WPSO says the initial investigation indicated that the man sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The case is being investigated as a homicide. Detectives are following up on several leads. The victim’s identity is not being released at this time.

Deputies are searching for Clois Clifton Blackledge III who is considered a person of interest in the case. WPSO says Blackledge was last seen riding a Honda motorcycle. It was originally black and silver but may have been repainted white.
