According to a press release from the Boston Police Department, District C-11 detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating 48-year-old Michael Peterson of Boston. Police say Peterson is wanted for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Peterson reportedly left the Carney Hospital, 2100 Dorchester Avenue, this afternoon.

He was last seen around 2:18 PM in the area of Talbot Avenue and Lithgow Street. BPD describes Peterson as a white male around 170 pounds and 5’06”. When last seen, Peterson was wearing a black sweatshirt with white words or a white patch on it. Police ask the public not to approach Peterson.

Instead, they are encouraged to call 911 immediately.
