Baltimore County Police Department Crimes Against Children Unit Detectives have announced the arrest of a teacher for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor. Detectives say 24-year-old Lewis Laury was arrested on July 1, 2024.

Detectives report that information was received detailing an alleged inappropriate relationship between Laury and a minor. Laury is a teacher with Baltimore City Public Schools.

At this time, he has been charged with Second-Degree Rape and Sexual Offense in the Third Degree. Laury is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
