On November 26, 2023, Lebanon police apprehended a 25-year-old female wanted on aggravated assault and felony theft charges. On October 9, 2023, Daniell Pitt and several other females allegedly shoplifted at the TJMaxx at 2724 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. Upon leaving the store, the suspects were approached by a Clarksville Police Sergeant. Pitt sprayed the sergeant with bear spray before fleeing the scene with the other suspects in a black Dodge Avenger.

Detectives obtained surveillance footage for October 9, from TJMaxx and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Daniell Pitt and 18-year-old Makiya Givans were seen shoplifting at both locations.

On October 10, 2023, Detectives with the Clarksville Police Department and Metropolitan Nashville police apprehended Makiya Givans in Nashville. Givans was remanded to the Montgomery County Jail.

Daniell Pitt was apprehended on November 26, 2023, by Lebanon police after a shoplifting attempt at Hibbett Sports. Pitt has been booked into the Wilson County Jail. Pitt has warrants in Montgomery County for felony theft, aggravated assault on a first responder, and felony evading. Pitt’s bond has been set at $75,000.
