The Chandler Police Department is investigating a possible murder-suicide that claimed the lives of a 49-year-old woman and her 10-year-old daughter. CPD officers responded to an apartment complex in the 1100 block of North Priest Drive just after 5:30 p.m. on June 25th.

CPD had received a 911 call from a family friend saying they had walked into the unlocked condo and found two people deceased. CPD says the victims were found in a bathroom inside the condo. A firearm was also found in the room.

At this time, the investigation is ongoing. No other details are available.
