Two men facing Attempted Murder charge after stabbing in Fort Collins Old Town

Fort Collins Police say a 36-year-old man was stabbed multiple times last night in Old Town. Now, two men are facing charges in connection to the stabbing. Just before 9 p.m. on June 20, 2024, officers with the Fort Collins Police Services saw a man walking along College Avenue bleeding from stab wounds.

The man was transported to UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies. Authorities say the victim had been in an argument with two men. After the three separated, the victim was walking through Old Town Square when one suspect approached him again and stabbed him multiple times.

Then, the suspects fled the scene together. Fort Collins Police Services have identified the suspects as Clayton Corbett and Harley Davis. The following morning, officers apprehended the suspects without incident.

Criminal Investigations Division and K9 Unit officers recovered the weapon. Corbett and Davis are charged with Attempted Murder in the 1st Degree – Deliberation with Intent, 1st Degree Assault, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
