A 27-year-old man has been indicted by an Anchorage grand jury on 15 counts of sexual abuse of a minor. The Attorney General’s Office reports that 27-year-old Danieljohn Capid Santos has been indicted.

The case was investigated by the Anchorage Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit. It is alleged that Santos sexually abused three children he was babysitting from January 1, 2013 to December 3, 2023.

The children were all under the age of 13 when the abuse allegedly occurred. Santos remains in custody at the Goose Creek Correctional Center. Anyone with information is asked to call 311 and reference APD Case Number 23-40668.
