The Gresham Police Department said in a social media post that it is investigating a homicide that occurred on Monday night. GPD officers responded to the 21000 block of Southeast Stark Street for a welfare check on Monday night.

At the scene, GPD officers found 76-year-old William “Tom” Vaughn deceased. Investigators say the death is a homicide. No other details are available at this time.
