The Portland Police Bureau is investigating a woman’s death after she was found deceased Sunday morning. PPB reports that Central Precinct officers responded to the area of Northwest 22nd Avenue and Northwest Kearney Street for a woman found deceased around 11:25 a.m.

PPB detectives responded to the scene to initiate an investigation into the matter. A portion of Northwest Kearney Street will be closed as the investigation continues. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death and the family will be notified before the victim’s identity is released.
