The La Marque Police Department is investigating a shooting on Saturday night. LMPD reports that officers responded to the 2000 block of Stonewall for a report of shots fired around 10:30 p.m. on June 15, 2024. At the scene, officers learned that an occupied property was hosting a party.

The property was struck by gunfire. LMPD checked the property and confirmed that no one was injured. The building was damaged by gunfire. LMPD says it will continue investigating this incident.
