The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection to an early Monday shooting. LVMPD dispatch received a report of a shooting in the 2000 block of Peyton Drive around 5:28 a.m. on June 10, 2024.
At the scene, patrol officers found a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds inside the residence. Medical personnel reached the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
LVMPD says its patrol officers located a vehicle associated with the call and detained a male occupant. Homicide Detectives learned that the victim and 25-year-old Isaiah Branch had been in an argument resulting in Branch allegedly shooting the victim.
Following the shooting, Branch fled the house. Branch was booked into the Clark County Detention Center for Open Murder Involving a Deadly Weapon.
