Fargo Police investigating after domestic dispute leads to discovery of deceased woman

The Fargo Police Department is investigating a murder on Saturday. FPD reports that its officers responded to a call for service in the 3100 block of 33rd Street South around 11:48 a.m. on June 8, 2024.

The call for service resulted from a reported domestic dispute. At the scene, FPD officers entered the residence and found a deceased victim. FPD expects to release the name of the victim in approximately 24 hours after the next-of-kin has been notified.

61-year-old Randall Duffy was arrested for murder. FPD says the suspect and victim were known to each other. There is no known threat to the public.
