The Pueblo Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect responsible for a shooting on June 2. PPB reports that officers responded to the 800 block of East Northern Avenue for a reported shooting around 9:50 p.m. on June 2.
At the scene, PPD officers found a 23-year-old man suffering from injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. Detectives believe the gunshots may have come from a silver sedan that left the scene after the shooting.
PPD says several witnesses and vehicles were in the area before and after the shooting. Most people left before law enforcement arrived. Anyone with information or video of the incident is asked to contact PPD at 719-553-3385 or Crime Stoppers at 719-542-STOP.
