The Portland Police Bureau is investigating a serious traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle. PPB reports that East Precinct officers responded to a report of a crash at the intersection of Southeast Flavel Street and Southeast 112th Avenue around 11:16 p.m. on June 5, 2024.
At the scene, officers found a motorcyclist deceased. The driver of the vehicle was found seriously injured. Authorities transported the driver to an area hospital for treatment. The Traffic Division Major Crash Team is responding to investigate.
During the investigation, a portion of Southeast Flavel Street will be closed between SE 109th Avenue and SE 118th Drive. SE 112th Avenue will be closed between SE Knapp Street and SE Malden Street.
