The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has arrested a woman following a homicide investigation. JSO reports that officers responded to the 1300 block of Eddy Road for an unresponsive male in the roadway on June 12, 2023.
At the scene, officers found the victim, 24-year-old Dylonn Bealle-Veneziale, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Jacksonville Fire and Rescue responded to the scene where they pronounced the victim deceased.
JCS’s Homicide Unit, Crime Scene Unit, and members of the State Attorney’s Office responded to investigate. JCS has identified the suspect as 31-year-old Cierra Marie Martin. Cierra was also serving a sentence for Aggravated Assault in the Lowell Correctional Institute.
She was transported to the Police Memorial Building to be interviewed by homicide detectives. Following the interview, she was arrested for murder and booked into the John E. Goode Pretrial Detention Facility on May 24, 2024.
