An altercation in Texarkana, Texas led to a stabbing on Friday afternoon. The Texarkana Police Department reported that it is investigating the stabbing which occurred around 1:36 p.m. in the 2300 block of North Stateline.
It is believed that at least two men were involved in an extended altercation in the parking lot of the business. Detectives say the victim was stabbed at least once in the neck after he was chased by the knife-wielding suspect into the roadway.
The victim was struck by a vehicle that was traveling southbound on Stateline. The victim was transported to the hospital by private vehicle. The suspect, who has not been identified, has been charged with Aggravated Assault.
At this time, the victim’s condition is not known. No other details are available.
