Two people were shot in Maxton, North Carolina today. The double shooting is being investigated by the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office. RCSO reports that deputies and investigators are investigating the double shooting that occurred around 5:06 p.m. in the area of Iron Horse Drive and Nollie’s Drive in Maxton.
RCSO specifies that the shooting did not happen at Purnell Swett High School. Authorities say the shooting has no connection to any of the events being held at the school.
