A man has been arrested in connection to a stabbing on Wednesday in DC. The Metropolitan Police Department reports that First District Detectives have arrested 26-year-old Sebastian Gustav Fonseca-Gomez who is charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
Around 1:16 p.m. on May 15, 2024, the suspect and victim were arguing at the intersection of 7th Street and A Street. The suspect allegedly pepper-sprayed the victim leading to a struggle.
At some point during the struggle, the suspect stabbed the victim. Responding officers apprehended the suspect and recovered a knife from the scene. The victim was treated for minor injuries.
