The Lawrence Police Department is investigating the death of a woman earlier Monday night. LPD says investigators are still on the scene and will continue looking into the woman’s death.
On May 13, 2024 just after 8 p.m., patrol units responded to a medical emergency on 25th Terrace a few blocks east of Haskell Avenue. The unidentified female was pronounced deceased at the scene.
LPD says officers found no obvious signs of trauma. Officers began interviewing potential witnesses and investigators responded to investigate. No other details are available at this time.
