Delaware State Police investigating robbery of a pizza delivery driver in Seaford

The Delaware State Police is currently investigating an armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver in Seaford. Troopers responded to a report of an armed robbery in the 24000 block of German Road around 10:39 p.m. on May 10, 2024.

The preliminary investigation indicates that detectives learned that three unknown male suspects had approached the victim who was making a delivery to a residence. One suspect reportedly pointed a gun at the victim, stole the pizza, and fled in the victim’s Toyota Camry.

The victim was not injured in the incident. Around 1:30 a.m. on May 11, troopers located and stopped the stolen Camry. The occupants fled from the vehicle, but the driver, 18-year-old Asjmeir Fiorentino, was apprehended a short time later.

The other occupants were not located. Fiorentino is charged with Receiving Stolen Property over $1,500, Resisting Arrest, Driving Without a License, and Failure to Signal.
