Quinlan Phipps arrested for First-Degree Murder in death of Teedeenae Jackson Yearby

A 19-year-old Stillwater man is in custody on a charge of First-Degree Murder in the death of juvenile Teedeenae “Jackson” Yearby. The Stillwater Police Department said in a statement that it had made an arrest in the case around 4 p.m. on April 17, 2024.

In February 2023, Jackson was reported missing to the Stillwater Police Department. 19-year-old Quinlan Phipps was booked into the Payne County Jail on a charge of First-Degree Murder. On April 23, 2024, a joint operation resulted in the recovery of human remains.

At this time, it is believed that these remains to be related to the case of Jackson Yearby. The remains were transported to the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office in Oklahoma City. The medical examiner will identify the remains and determine the cause of death.
