The Galveston Police Department is currently reviewing the details of a two-month-old girl’s death this morning. According to GPD, officers responded to the 2900 block of Avenue M around 9:30 a.m. on April 21 after receiving reports of an unconscious two-month-old female.
Galveston EMS transported the girl to the UTMB Health Trauma Center where lifesaving efforts were made. The girl passed away and was pronounced deceased a short time later. Officers and investigators with GPD are reviewing the case. The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death.
