A 22-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly pulling a gun on a motorist near Ephrata, Washington. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies and Ephrata Police responded to a call just before 8 p.m. on Friday.
A motorist called to say that the passenger of a green Jeep had pointed a gun at him near SR282 and Road A Northwest. Authorities located and stopped the Jeep on Division Avenue East. GCSO says the passenger, Aiden H. Thompson, admitted to pulling the gun after the other motorist pulled in from of them, prevented them from passing, and slammed on their brakes.
GCSO reports that deputies found one firearm, two loaded magazines, drug paraphernalia, and suspected fentanyl powder inside the vehicle. Thompson was arrested for investigation of first-degree assault with a firearm. The driver of the Jeep was interviewed and released.
