The Park Falls Police Department says the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Justice is investigating a death in Park Falls, Wisconsin. The incident occurred on the afternoon of April 13, 2024. Around 4:09 p.m., officers with the Park Falls Police Department responded to an area near the 600 block of 2nd Avenue North for reports of shots fired.
At the scene, responding officers found a deceased adult victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police say a handgun was found at the scene and a suspect was taken into custody. PFPD assures that there is no danger to the public at this time.
