The Portland Police Bureau is investigating a fatal shooting in the East Columbia neighborhood. According to PPB, North Precinct officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and North Gertz Road around 12:32 p.m. on April 12. At the scene, officers found an adult male deceased.
PPB’s Homicide Unit has responded to the scene to investigate the shooting. As the investigation continues, the streets in the area will be blocked. No additional details are available at this time.
