The Houston Police Department has announced charges against a man for a fatal shooting. According to HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Davis and M. Althaus, HPD officers responded to a reported shooting at an apartment complex at 3925 Arlington Square around 1:50 p.m. on April 7, 2024.
At the scene, officers found an unresponsive man suffering from a gunshot wound in the parking lot. Paramedics reached the scene and pronounced the victim deceased. The suspect fled the scene before authorities arrived. Authorities say witness statements and evidence led to 62-year-old Salvador Casillas Aguiano being identified as the suspect in the case.
Casillas-Anguiano turned himself in. He is charged with murder.
