The Fairfield Police Department has arrested a man on suspicion of murder. According to FPD, officers found a man deceased in the bushes on the north side of Travis Boulevard in the early hours of March 20, 2024. The victim was later identified as 44-year-old Zebulon Ira Baldwin.
FPD says the discovery was made after a call from a witness. Detectives immediately began investigating the man’s death which has been ruled a homicide. 39-year-old Erick John Fredericks has been arrested on suspicion of murder. No other details are available at this time.
