The Vallejo Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on March 15, 2024. According to VPD, officers responded to a call regarding an assault with a deadly weapon near the intersection of Lemon Street and Derr Street around 11:58 a.m. on March 15, 2024. At the scene, responding officers found an adult male victim of the assault.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. The VPD Detective Division assumed control of the investigation. On March 26, 2024 around 5 a.m., the Solano County Coroner’s Office informed VPD that the victim had succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, the victim’s identity is not being released. The murder is the 4th homicide in Vallejo in 2024. No additional details are available at this time.
