Allegheny County Police investigation after pedestrian struck by vehicle in Findlay Township

The Allegheny County Police Department is investigating a vehicle collision. According to an ACPD social media release, its Homicide and Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to 1100 Clifford Ball Drive in Findlay Township. Around 3:02 p.m., County 911 received a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian.

ACPD officers from District 1 responded and found a 60-year-old female victim in critical condition. The victim was transported to an area hospital. It is believed she was struck by an SUV pulling out of a parking space. The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and provided aid. Detectives are investigating.

The driver is only identified as a 47-year-old male.
