The Prince George’s County Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred just before 7 p.m. today. According to PGPD, officers responded to the 1800 block of Metzerott Road around 6:45 p.m. on March 23, 2024. At the scene, responding officers located an adult male outside suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, detectives are working to establish a motive and suspect in the case. No other details are available.
