The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two women in connection to an overnight assault and burglary. According to an SMCSO news release, 45-year-old Christina Lee Calero and 44-year-old Jamie Lynn Esposito were arrested following a burglary at a Lexington Park residence.

Around 12:20 a.m. on March 22, 2024, deputies responded to a report of an assault. The preliminary investigation indicates that two female suspects forcibly entered the home, assaulted the victim, and fled. While deputies were investigating, the two suspects returned. They were identified and arrested.

Both are charged with Third-Degree Burglary, Second-Degree Assault, and related offenses. Esposito is also charged with Driving While Impaired by Alcohol and other traffic offenses.
