The Sacramento Police Department has responded to a fatal shooting on March 21. According to SPD, officers responded to the 6500 block of Q Street for reports of a shooting around 3:15 p.m. on March 21, 2024. At the scene, responding officers found one male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to assume control of the investigation. At this time, the circumstances of the shooting are under investigation. No arrests have been made. SPD says the suspects are described as two African-American males.

At the time of the shooting, one was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. The other suspect was wearing black jeans and a grey sweatshirt. No other details are available at this time.
