The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting after a man was shot in the leg. According to a Baltimore Police Department media release, Western District officers responded to the 1900 block of West North Avenue after a Shot Spotter alert around 9:50 p.m. on March 20, 2024.

Moments later, a victim showed up at an area hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. Officers responded to the hospital where they located a 21-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim’s injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

The victim informed police he was shot in the 1900 block of West North Avenue. Western District Shooting Detectives assumed control of the investigation. No additional details are available at this time.
