The Temple Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that injured one person on Wednesday night. According to a TPD media release, officers responded to the 900 block of E Avenue B for reports of shots fired around 9 p.m. on March 20, 2024.

At the scene, responding officers located one person with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Baylor Scott and White Medical Center for treatment. At this time, there have been no additional injuries reported.

The shooting is under investigation. No more details are available at this time.
