The Houston Police Department has arrested a suspect in a fatal shooting at 600 North Victory Drive. According to HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective J. Wallschlaeger, patrol officers responded to a shooting at 600 North Victory Drive on March 16, 2024.

At the scene, responding officers found a victim lying unresponsive in the median with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The victim is only being described as a 43-year-old man.

On March 20, 2024, HPD announced in a media release that 40-year-old Terrance Short had been charged with murder.
