The Greenville Police Department has announced that a murder suspect has been returned to face charges. According to a GPD social media post, investigators traveled to Evansville, Indiana to extradite Adrian Pam back to Mississippi where he will face a charge of murder. The 33-year-old has been on the run since January 13, 2024.

GPD says the murder occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the 400 block of North Edison. It was the Port City’s first homicide of the year. The victim has been identified as 38-year-old Marcus Jones. Another male victim was flown to a hospital for treatment. GPD believes the shooting was the result of an altercation involving several people.

Pam is accused of fleeing the state following the shooting. He was apprehended by the United States Marshals. Pam is facing charges of Murder, Attempted Murder, and Possession of a Firearm by Felon.
