The Anaheim Police Department has announced an arrest in connection to the slaying of a 72-year-old woman. Around 1:17 p.m. on February 26, 2024, APD officers responded to a home in the 100 block of Spruce Via regarding a death investigation.

At the scene, responding officers found a 72-year-old woman deceased. Detectives say the woman had been assaulted. The Orange County Coroner’s Office determined that the death was a homicide. Detectives identified the suspect as Raymond Craft.

On March 7, 2024, Craft was arrested in the City of Fullerton and booked for murder. He remains in custody in lieu of one million dollar bail. No additional details are available at this time.
