The Memphis Police Department is investigating a shooting tonight that left a man in critical condition. According to MPD, officers responded to the 3500 block of Monessen Drive regarding a shooting around 9:41 p.m. on March 11, 2024.

At the scene, responding officers found a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Regional One in critical condition. At this time, the Memphis Police Department has not provided any other details about this incident.
